Prates has announced plans after his fight with Magny

UFC Brazilian welterweight Carlos Prates spoke about his career plans if he defeats American Neil Magny in an upcoming bout.

"I think I'll go far ahead if I get a win over Neil Magny. I'll be high up in the rankings and there's no point in planning to fight Randy Brown anymore. He ran away from me once, there's no point in chasing him, even though I think he's a lot lighter than Neil Magny. I was looking at the rankings and I figured my next fight I could fight in Australia in February [at UFC 312]. Maybe challenge Jack Della Maddalena," - quotes Prates MMA Fighting.

Prates and Magny will meet in the main event of UFC Fight Night 247, which will take place on the night of September 10 in Las Vegas, USA.
