Dos Anjos: "I'm not done with my career yet."
Former interim UFC lightweight champion Rafael Dos Anjos said he has no plans to retire from the sport following his loss to Jeff Neal at UFC 308 in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
The Brazilian was unable to continue the fight due to a leg injury suffered in the first round.
"I think this injury happened when we landed a leg kick at the same time as Neil, that's when I heard some crunching just below the knee.
It was only the second time in my career that I've been in the hospital after a fight. And now I realize that I was lucky to be here only the second time, because our sport is very tough.
Of course, I wanted to celebrate my 40th anniversary in a different way. But that's okay, now I'll rest, recover, spend time with my family and then I'll come back. I haven't finished my career yet and I haven't said my last word," the Brazilian wrote on Instagram.
