UFC CEO Dana White has once again spoken out about Francis Ngannou's departure from the promotion.
"Francis only wanted money. He left because he knew a loss to Jon Jones would hurt his chances of making good money. But the conditions in the UFC were better. They can deny it, but why would I lie?
There was a point where I was going to drop Francis. It was when he lost two fights in a row. I was asked not to. There's a double bottom to this whole situation. But the fact remains that he would have earned more if he had stayed in the UFC," White said at a press conference in Abu Dhabi.
Recall that earlier Ngannou won the PFL heavyweight title by knocking out Renan Ferreira in the first round.
