Former UFC featherweight champion Max Holloway has commented on current titleholder Elijah Topuria's suggestion to stage a chop in the center of the octagon from the first seconds of the fight.

The Georgian and the American will meet in the main event of UFC 308, which takes place Oct. 26 in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

"It just doesn't make sense. At the end of the day, I don't think he deserves it. That right has to be earned. I don't think he's earned that right. This guy is a copycat. You know who he's copying. Right down to the tattoos, the aura, the way he approaches fights," MMA Fighting quotes the American as saying.
