UFC featherweight champion Elijah Topuria has made another announcement about a potential fight with higher division titleholder Islam Makhachev.
"If they call me up and say they want me in the lightweight division, I will quietly move up in weight and become the first to sabmit Islam Makhachev. But if the management wants me to defend the belt in the welterweight division, I won't be against it either. So let the UFC decide," Topuria said in an interview with UFC.
Recall that on October 26 in the main event of UFC 308 in Abu Dhabi, UAE, Topuria will have to share the octagon with Max Holloway.
