John Kavanagh, the permanent mentor of former UFC two-weight champion Conor McGregor, has revealed that his charge continues to stay in shape despite the fact that a date for his next fight has yet to be set.
"If the date for the next fight was set for December, we'd be training hard by now. He's not training with me at the moment though, as he's on a promotional tour of his stout in the US. Conor is now visiting some breweries, however he is still training. He sends me videos of his sparring sessions and I send him training videos. In the footage I've been able to see, he looks really tough. If he was put a fight for December, we agreed to it anyway," - quotes Kavanagh BJ Penn.
Recall that McGregor has not appeared in the octagon since the summer of 2021, when he lost to Dustin Puryear because of a broken leg.
