Brazilian UFC fighter admits he's been smoking since he was 12 years old

UFC Brazilian welterweight Carlos Prates revealed how it came to be that he has been smoking cigarettes since he was a child.

"Honestly, I started smoking when I was 12 or 13 years old. Because my mom worked a lot. We lived together with my mom, she had to pay for everything and also take care of my grandparents. So she would leave early in the morning and come back late at night. And I was raised on the street. When you spend a lot of time on the street, you learn a lot of bad things," - quotes Prates Sherdog.

Recall that on August 17 at the UFC 305 tournament Prates knocked out Li Jingliang. In total, on account of 31-year-old Brazilian 20 wins and 6 defeats.
