UFC interim heavyweight champion Tom Aspinall shared his thoughts on the current situation in the division.

Recall that Jon Jones, who won a full title last March, never made a single defense.

"From my point of view, I'm the best heavyweight in the world. I don't get the recognition I deserve. They're holding the belt hostage and Jon Jones loves it. He loves that White talks about him in every possible interview. The conversation is about the flyweight division and White changes the conversation and starts talking about how good Jon Jones is. I was like, "If he's that good, let me fight him."
