Tsarukyan revealed when the fight with Makhachev may take place

The number one ranked UFC lightweight Arman Tsarukyan said that his fight with division champion Islam Makhachev could take place at the end of this year or early next year.

"My manager told me I would fight Islam in October. And then Islam told the UFC that he got injured. And they moved the fight to December or maybe next year. Of course, it's sad. Because I've already started training hard, I'm in good shape.

But it is what it is. If the fight will be in December, it doesn't matter - I will train and wait," Tsarukyan said in an interview with Submission Radio.

In April, Tsarukyan defeated Charles Oliveira by split decision at UFC 300.
