Brown supported the UFC's rejection of Mokaev
Retired American mixed martial arts veteran Matt Brown has endorsed the UFC's decision not to renew the contract of undefeated flyweight fighter Muhammad Mokaev.
"I would have cut him off too, to be honest. It's weird that the UFC guys went for it though, because he could have accomplished a lot. The ceiling of his capabilities is very high. Young and talented with great skills. But you can't act like him. When you're Jon Jones and the audience comes to watch you - yes, you can get away with some things. But who's coming to see Muhammad Mokayev? There's a different standard for every fighter. He's not at a level to do this kind of shit. A low blow? Only cowardly bitches do that. I wouldn't want to keep working with a guy like that either," MMA Fighting quoted Browne as saying.
