Former interim UFC lightweight champion Tony Ferguson has reached out to his next opponent, Michael Chiesa, who he will face on Aug. 3 at UFC on ABC 7 in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
"This is mixed martial arts. I'm going to come out and outwork you. I'm going to start smashing you in the stand-up, you're going to throw yourself to your feet and I'm going to choke you out. Like the Paddy Pimblett fight, but I shouldn't have let him get up.
I hear people talking shit while I know damn well what I need to do. Nothing against you, Michael Chiesa, but I'm going to give you a fight! You won't have time to take a breath and I hope your conditioning is just fine," Ferguson stated.
Recall that the 40-year-old "El Cucuy" goes on a series of their seven consecutive defeats.
