Former interim UFC lightweight champion Dustin Porier has said he will only agree to do a fist fight if he receives a hefty fee.
"Bare-knuckle MMA is a more cleaned up type of fighting. Chokes are easier to perform, fighting without gloves is more comfortable. But when it comes to talking about taking part in a bare-knuckle fight..... I'd ask for a serious fee. Because it's impossible not to get cut. Even if you fight defensively, you're still gonna get bloody.
I've been to a few live fist fights. It's a very different experience. It's a very brutal spectacle. You can hear the knuckles flying off your skull, it's brutal," Puryear said on The MMA Hour show.
