Aspinall: "Gan doesn't need to pretend he wants to fight me"

UFC interim heavyweight champion Tom Aspinall has responded to a rebuke from Cyril Gagne.

Earlier, the Frenchman said that the Brit only challenges him when he is unavailable for a fight.

"The UFC didn't want me to fight Curtis Blaydes. They wanted to put me together with Cyril, but Cyril was reluctant. I don't know what's up with his calendar. He's a busy guy, he's an actor. Let him do what makes him happy. But don't act like you want to fight me.

All I want to do is fight. Preferably with as many opponents as possible. Making movies doesn't appeal to me. I'm ready to fight and I want to continue my career. If he's not interested, I'm not offended. I was ready to fight him. It was enough for him to agree," Aspinall told MMA Hour.
