Ankalaev: "Pereira won't be able to avoid the fight"

Dagestan UFC welterweight Magomed Ankalaev expressed confidence that he will be the next opponent of the division's reigning champion, Brazilian Alex Pereira.

"We've been waiting a long time for this moment. We're waiting for the contract to be signed. I don't think he will be able to avoid the fight, we will meet. Negotiations are going on for now. Everything depends on Pereira, but given the attitude of the teams, it is logical to assume that the fight will take place," said Ancalaev in an interview with TMZ Sports.

Recall, earlier Pereira said that he does not plan to return to the octagon before November.
