Aspinall: "Two things can happen in a fight: you can either win or lose"

UFC interim bantamweight champion Tom Aspinall shared his philosophy ahead of his rematch with Curtis Blades on Nov. 27 at UFC 304 in Manchester, United Kingdom.

"People overcomplicate the fight, I've done it too over the years. Ultimately two things can happen during a fight: you can either win or lose. I always try to just go back to that.

Let's keep it simple, there's two of us out there, you can spend all day thinking about what will or won't happen. There's pressure associated with that, I don't hide from that, especially before a fight like this. It's in Manchester for a rematch, title defense and all that. Emotions can get out of control under pressure. Especially when you start to get tired, like at this stage in training camp. I've been working, I've done a lot of rounds, my body is exhausted and I'm mentally tired," Bloody Elbow quoted Aspinall as saying.

Recall that in 2022, Aspinall lost early to Blades due to a broken leg.
