Puryear: "A Jones vs. Pereira fight would be a huge blockbuster."

Former interim UFC lightweight champion Dustin Porier has spoken out about a potential fight between heavyweight division titleholder Jon Jones and featherweight belt holder Alex Pereira.

"John is much bigger than Alex and also has never been knocked out. He won't play him in the stand-up as he has good intelligence. His move up to heavyweight in some ways could prolong his athletic career, as everyone is aware that heavyweights can perform longer than fighters from the smaller weights.

When it comes to potential opponents for Jones, Stipe could now return to the role of a brand new fighter. Aspinall certainly deserves to fight him, but he doesn't have the aura that Alex and Johns have. A fight between Jones and Pereira would be a huge blockbuster," Low Kick MMA quoted Porier as saying.
