Former interim UFC lightweight champion Dustin Porier has said he would like to fight under boxing rules with former octagon colleague Nate Diaz one day.
"I would love to have a boxing match. I'll ask the UFC for permission. It would be an interesting change of pace, a new style of training. A dream opponent? I would box with Nate Diaz. I would love to fight him in MMA. But it would be better to meet him in the ring. Nate's style really exhausts his opponent. You don't have a single moment to take a break, you are always in a focused state," said Puryear on the air of The MMA Hour
Recall that last weekend Diaz won on points in a boxing fight against Jorge Masvidal.
