American MMA veteran Jorge Mavidal commented on the outcome of his fight against former octagon colleague Nate Diaz.
On the night of June 7 in the main event of a boxing show in Anaheim, USA, Diaz defeated Masvidal by majority decision of the judges.
"I have no doubt that the judges were influenced by the audience. A lot of his punches were tangential, I was just picking my momentum. He would throw three or four punches and not hit, and then I would throw one good punch. I could see that I was doing damage to him, otherwise he would start fooling around. I punched him in the body a lot of times.
I think the two judges only gave me two rounds. That's just impossible. We watched the fight in the locker room and I threw a lot more meaningful punches. I feel like it went down, but there's nothing I can do about it," Masvidal said at the press conference.
