Ankalaev: "I don't see anything dangerous in Pereira"

Former UFC bantamweight title challenger Magomed Ankalaev shared his opinion on current division champion Alex Pereira.

"He won't give me that much of a problem in the stand-up, as I like that kind of striker going forward. I think I can wear him down in the stand-up as well. If the wrestling is on, I don't know, I don't see him having any chance. For some reason fans think he's such an unreal puncher, but we've seen who he's fought.

If you take Jamal Hill, you could see that he was scared of Hill, you could see that he was afraid. Prochazka is just going forward - he's got him. Otherwise, I don't see anything so supernatural about his punching technique. He's just a regular puncher, a standard fighter, that's all. I don't see anything dangerous in this man except that he is a puncher, he has a strong punch, and that's all.", - quotes Ankalaev MMA Junkie.

Recall that this past weekend at UFC 303 Pereira made his second defense of the belt by knocking out Jiri Prohazka.
