"The Russians didn't help." Mokayev was beaten up in Las Vegas

Performing for Great Britain Dagestani UFC lightweight prospect Muhammad Mokaev was attacked by his closest rival, Portuguese Manel Capa. This was revealed by Brazilian welterweight Gene Silva.

"Manel Kape hit Mokayev right here outside the gym a while back. He elbowed Muhammad in the head on the street, bro. Capé caught Mokaev right outside the UFC headquarters. He headbutted him and elbowed him and split Mokaev's head open. Kape is a real psychopath and I was just about to spar with him that day.

It was near the entrance to the UFC headquarters. There were Russians there, but they didn't even help Mokaev. They just watched Muhammad take a beating," MMA Fighting quoted Silva as saying.

Recall that Mokaev and Kape are scheduled to fight on June 27 at UFC 305 in Manchester.
