Edwards is ready to make a title fight with McGregor in November

UFC welterweight champion Leon Edwards says he's ready to fight former two-division belt holder Conor McGregor.

"I told him if he feels he can do it - change the results - then after he beats Chandler in June, ready to fight for the welterweight title in November at Madison Square Garden in New York. We'll see. We're both already scheduled fights.

Why do I want to fight him? I want to see if he's still the same guy. Because if he's not, there's no point in me even having a conversation with him. I want to go to the octagon and perform," - quotes Edwards talkSPORT.

As a reminder, Edwards will defend the title against Belal Muhammad in the main event of UFC 304 on July 27 in Manchester, UK.
