Oliveira refused to train with Makhachev

Former UFC lightweight champion Charles Oliveira has turned down an offer from current titleholder Islam Makhachev to train in Dagestan.

"I am grateful to Islam for inviting me to train with him in Dagestan, but I am part of Chute Boxe. I have no intention of training anywhere else. I'm happy with everything he said. He had a great fight at UFC 302 and showed that he is a champion," - quotes Charles BandSports.

Recall that in his last fight, which took place on April 13 at UFC 300, Oliveira lost by split decision to Arman Tsarukyan.
