UFC top lightweight Arman Tsarukyan congratulated his division's champion Islam Makhachev on his third successful title defense.
Makhachev defeated Dustin Porier with a fifth-round choke hold in the main event of UFC 302 in Newark, S.C., on the night of June 2.
"Congratulations, Islam! But don't try to run away to another division. You've only defended the title once against a real lightweight and I'm next in line," Tsarukyan wrote on his X page.
Tsarukyan also stated that he is ready to share the octagon with Makhachev in October.
