American UFC fighter Kevin Holland expressed his opinion that the promotion's lightweight champion Islam Makhachev is capable of conquering the second division.
"Yes, Islam would be the welterweight champion. One hundred percent. Khabib could also become a double champion if he wanted to. And I think Makhachev is even scarier than Khabib. He knocked out Volkanovski. Yeah, he's a tough guy to beat. Islam is a scary guy," Holland said at the press conference.
Makhachev will defend his title against Dustin Puryear in the main event of UFC 302 in Newark, USA, on June 2. Holland will share the octagon with Michal Oleksiychuk in the same show.
