Former UFC interim lightweight champion Justin Gaethje revealed why, as a base fighter, he fights exclusively in the standup.

"It's my job, I do it for the money. If I was banking on my wrestling, they would never pay me what they're paying me now. I've had some tremendous fights largely because of the way I fight, so I don't regret anything," TitleSportsNet quotes the American as saying.

Recall that in his last fight, Gaethje lost by knockout in the last minute to Max Holloway. The fight took place on April 13 at the UFC 300 tournament in Las Vegas, USA.
