Brazilian mixed martial arts veteran Edson Barboza has stated his desire to fight for the symbolic BMF ("Most Badass Bastard") title currently held by Max Holloway.
"If anyone deserves a BMF title fight, it's me. Who has had better knockouts than me? I respect Max, he's one of my favorite fighters in the world. I love watching his fights. The guy is very cool, a real family man. But imagine my fight against him for the BMF belt. It would be very, very good for me, for him, and for the promotion.
Like I said, I have 30 fights in the UFC. I think I've earned it. Of course, I'm 100 percent focused on the next fight, but I think our fight with Max would be a good fight," - quotes Barboza BJ Penn.
Barboza will fight Leon Murphy in the main event of UFC Fight Night 241 this coming weekend.
