Former dominant UFC featherweight champion Jose Aldo spoke about his attitude towards defeats.
"You know, it doesn't matter so much who you lose to - it could have been Conor, it could have been somebody else. Defeat is part of the game and I've always understood that being champion is my goal, no matter what happens. Becoming a UFC champion is what I've strived for and worked for, so there can be defeats along the way.
You can just fail, leave the sport and be left with the bitter taste of failure. But if you can come back, if you stay in the game for the long haul and keep working, then eventually you will enjoy the fruits of your labor and become a champion," Aldo said on The MMA Hour show.
Recall that in December 2015, Aldo lost to McGregor by knockout in 13 seconds.
