Former UFC interim lightweight champion Justin Gaethje recalled how, as a teenager, he sent himself to a knockout.
"I always loved doing something crazy. There was a counter in our town that sold all kinds of buns. At one point I got the idea to smash my head through the countertop of that counter. Just for fun. Ended up knocking myself out, got stitches. Mom was just furious," - quotes Gatji Bloody Elbow.
Recall that in his last fight, Gaethje lost by knockout in the fifth round to Max Holloway and lost the symbolic belt BMF. The fight took place on April 13 at UFC 300 in Las Vegas.
