Aldo on his future: "It all depends on what I'm offered"

Former UFC featherweight champion Jose Aldo has not ruled out signing a new deal with the promotion.

On May 4 at UFC 301, the Brazilian had his last fight under contract with the organization, defeating Jonathan Martinez by unanimous judges' decision.

"Now it all depends on what I will be offered, what the plan for my future will be. Money doesn't matter now, we don't think about that. The thoughts are only about what I can do and where I can go.

My dream was to become the lightweight champion, I've been training for that, my body is ready for that. In the Martinez fight, I was a versatile MMA fighter. I feel great and I can accomplish even more. Maybe even become a champion in the future," Combate quoted Aldo as saying.
