Makhachev explained why he is not going to fight for the BMF title

UFC lightweight champion Islam Makhachev has spoken about his desire to win a second championship belt.

According to the Dagestani, he plans to conquer the welterweight division, and he is not interested in the BMF ("The Coolest Bastard") title.

"Honestly, I'm dreaming of a second championship belt - in the welterweight division. I don't know who my opponent will be, right now the champion is Leon Edwards. As for BMF - I don't need this belt (laughs). Because I do not know what it even exists for," - said Makhachev in an interview with TMZ Sports.
