UFC interim heavyweight champion Tom Aspinall has confirmed that he will fight next at July's UFC 304 event in Manchester. According to the Brit, the promotion will make an official announcement the other day.
"We're coming back to England! I have a great fight planned for the British fans and I'm excited to be back. Literally in a few days it will be announced officially and we will start preparing. The tournament in England will be numbered and will be sold on PPV.
I had a meeting with the UFC management. As a result of the conversation, we agreed that my fight will take place at the tournament in Manchester. So I'm going back home and preparing for that. So far, my training camp has not yet started, because my opponent has not yet signed a contract for the fight," - quotes Aspinall talkSPORT.
As a reminder, Aspinall has not appeared in the octagon since November, when he knocked out Sergey Pavlovich in the first round.
