Moses Itauma’s return to the ring has been rescheduled for August 8, when the unbeaten heavyweight prospect is now set to fight on a London card. His opponent has not yet been announced.
The bout had previously been expected to take place on July 25, but the date was moved to avoid a clash with the Riyadh boxing show featuring Anthony Joshua. Frank Warren is also planning to bring Itauma to the United States this fall for what would be his first professional fight in front of an American audience.
Back in March, Itauma stopped Jermaine Franklin by knockout to defend his WBO Inter-Continental title. The Englishman could soon be positioned as a mandatory challenger for the World Boxing Organization heavyweight title.
