Fury explained why Usyk will not fight Kabayel

Former world heavyweight champion Tyson Fury expressed confidence that Oleksandr Usyk will not conduct a mandatory WBC title defense against Agit Kabayel. According to the British boxer, such a fight is of no interest to either Usyk or the public.

"If Usyk does fight Kabayel, who will be interested? Absolutely no one cares about this fight. It will not sell, no one will want to watch it. Kabayel certainly deserves the right to a title fight, but I am convinced that Usyk will not give him this chance precisely due to the lack of real money in this confrontation," Fury stated.

Recall that the World Boxing Council (WBC) had previously officially ordered Usyk to conduct a mandatory world heavyweight title defense against Kabayel after the next fight. So far, the Ukrainian boxer has not publicly commented on this directive from the organization.
