The 42-year-old British heavyweight Derek Chisora confirmed that the fight against Deontay Wilder, scheduled for April 4 in London, will be the final one in his long and bright professional career.

"I will not return to the ring. I simply don't have the strength left to conduct full training camps," Chisora stated. According to him, this decision was finally made even before the fight with Otto Wallin: "With each time, it gets harder. I realized—only one fight remains."

At the same time, Derek emphasized that he will not leave boxing completely: "Boxing is in my blood. Until the grave. Look at Fury—how many times has he 'retired'? A deceiver. He convinced himself and then returned. I don't want to do that."

Chisora also drew a parallel with his future opponent: "Wilder is already over 40. We are peers in terms of career age. This fight will be the end for both of us."

Let us remind you that the Chisora (36-13, 23 KOs) - Wilder (44-4-1, 43 KOs) fight will be the 50th of each fighter's professional career and will take place under the auspices of a boxing evening at one of Britain's most iconic arenas. The broadcast is expected on DAZN.
