Haney challenged Stevenson

WBO welterweight champion Devin Haney outlined his plans for 2026. In his recent post on X, the American stated directly that he sees Shakur Stevenson, the newly crowned WBO champion in the super lightweight division, as his potential opponent.

"Shakur and I are the next biggest fight in boxing! I want him and Keyshawn. First the younger brother, then the older one. Although it's okay with me if the older brother comes first," wrote Devin, referring to Shakur Stevenson and his teammate "brother" Keyshawn Davis.

The reason for such a bold statement was Stevenson's recent dominant victory over Teofimo Lopez, which earned him a championship title in the fourth weight category.

Recall that Haney last entered the ring in November, when he outpointed Brian Norman.
