Former world champion Tyson Fury supported Derek Chisora in a potential fight against Deontay Wilder and urged sanctioning bodies to put a title on the line.

According to leading sources (including Dan Rafael and Sky Sports), the Wilder – Chisora fight is in the final stages of agreement and is highly likely to take place in April in London. The official announcement and press conference are expected next week.

Tyson Fury, who fought both of these boxers three times each and remained undefeated in all six bouts, recorded a video message in which he gave a clear prediction:

“I just saw that Chisora and Wilder will have a fight. I think this is a great match-up—I fought both these guys three times each. But in this fight, I’m betting on my friend Chisora for an early victory. Get up, Derek, go ahead! This will be a home fight for you, and the title must be at stake. Sanctioning bodies, you have two legendary fighters: a champion with 10 defenses from the USA and a true warrior from the United Kingdom. Derek Chisora fought everyone, avoided no one—he would have been a top heavyweight in any era. Put the belt on the line, guys!”

Fury emphasized that Chisora, who will be 43 in December, deserves a bright career conclusion on a major note, especially considering it could be his 50th professional fight.
