Jake Paul might be wrapping up his boxing career after a tough match against Anthony Joshua. During the fight, he suffered a broken jaw, fractured in two places, and got knocked out in the sixth round.

Derek Chisora, a British heavyweight boxer, took a strong stance on Paul's future in boxing. He said Paul wouldn't return to the ring after this ordeal.

"This guy is not going to box anymore. After fracturing his jaw he is going to have PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder). He has a broken jaw, twice, in two places,"
Chisora mentioned bluntly.

"He's not going to box anymore; he's finished. Has anyone who has broken their jaw in a boxing match and come back? Real boxers come back; YouTubers don't come back."
He continued with his argument pointing out the difference between established boxers and social media personalities turned fighters.

On the other hand, Viddal Riley, fellow boxer and pundit on [SunSport's 'Split Decision' programme](https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/20506092/derek-chisora-claims-jake-paul-will-never-box-again/), offers another perspective. He highlights Jake Paul's broad responsibilities in promoting lesser-known fighters.

"Jake has a lot of responsibilities to fulfill with all the boxers that are under his banner and part of that delivery is exposure. They can't get that visibility if it's not the protagonist doing some crazy stuff. Netflix put these events on because Jake is the protagonist,"
Riley shared.

Despite Chisora’s skepticism about Paul continuing to fight, Riley speculated that Jake may yet lace up his gloves for more bouts before considering closing this chapter of his journey entirely.

He added an interesting point saying:

"And I think maybe two more fights, but maybe he needs to try to make the fight with Canelo in July next year."

Whether Jake Paul will heed Derek Chisora's caution or choose to follow Viddal Riley's optimistic forecast remains uncertain but will surely keep fans engaged as events unfold.
