Two-time world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua (29-4, 26 KOs) is set to have his next professional fight on February 14 in Riyadh. Among potential opponents is Dutch kickboxer Rico Verhoeven.
Eddie Hearn confirmed that the Dutchman is one of the potential opponents, but the head of Matchroom Boxing is still not completely sure if Joshua's fight will happen in February.
“The biggest issue is time. There are eight weeks until the fight, regardless of whether it is Rico or another fighter. The contract is not signed yet,” Hearn said.
Joshua returned to the ring on Friday after more than a year-long break, scoring a knockout victory over Jake Paul. It was the Briton's second professional fight in the United States.
