Eddie Hearn, promoter of former world heavyweight boxing champion Anthony Joshua, commented on the significance of his protégé's upcoming fight against showman-boxer Jake Paul.
"Jake is in the top 50 best boxers in the world in the weight category up to 90.7 kg. He is now a fully-fledged professional in this category. But I do not consider him a world-class fighter and do not think that anyone from this division, not belonging to the elite, can move to heavyweight and defeat Anthony Joshua. Maybe I'm wrong. If I'm wrong, then I think my time is up. Not only AJ and I should retire, I think we all should retire. So, AJ, the weight of boxing lies on your shoulders, my friend," Hearn is quoted by Daily Express.
Let us remind you that the Joshua — Paul fight will take place on December 19 in Miami.
