Eddie Hearn, the promoter of former world heavyweight boxing champion Anthony Joshua, spoke about the significance of his protégé's upcoming fight against showman-boxer Jake Paul.
"Jake is among the top-50 best boxers in the world in the weight category up to 90.7 kg. He is now a full-fledged professional in this category. But I do not consider him a world-class fighter, and I don't think anyone in this division, who isn't elite, can move up to heavyweight and defeat Anthony Joshua. Maybe I'm wrong. If I'm wrong, then I think my time is up. Not only should AJ and I retire, but I think we should all retire. So, AJ, the weight of boxing is on your shoulders, my friend," Hearn is quoted by Daily Express.
Let's remember that the Joshua - Paul fight will take place on December 19th in Miami.
