The interim WBC world heavyweight champion Agit Kabayel reacted to Anthony Joshua's agreement to fight the video blogger Jake Paul.
“This is madness. The situation in boxing has changed. All the fans want to watch funny fights. I don't know why. A.J. has a lot of fans, and Jake Paul has a lot too. I think fans from different parts of the world will watch this fight.
It's a big fight, people like it, but I think it's not sport or competition for A.J. If Joshua says this is the best option for him, then it is. He could have fought me or many other fighters, but I think after losing his last fight, he needs to give his head a rest. It is what it is. I can't change anything. This is the era in boxing now,” Kabayel told Sky Sports.
Let's remember that Joshua and Paul have agreed on a fight in December.
