Haye named the most difficult opponent for Usyk

The former two-division world champion David Haye believes that the most difficult opponent for heavyweight leader Oleksandr Usyk right now would be the IBF titleholder in the cruiserweight division Jai Opetaia.

“I think Opetaia could become the fourth fighter who was a world champion in both cruiserweight and heavyweight. I believe he is capable of doing it. I didn’t think that after Usyk there would be another such fighter, but I’m watching Opetaia and I believe that he will pose problems for any opponent.

Opetaia would give Usyk a more difficult fight than anyone else. I think he understands that too. Without a doubt, I would defeat Opetaia, but I would have to show my best performance. I really respect him,” said Haye.
