Floyd Mayweather Sues Luxury Car Dealer Over $1.2M Purchase: "They Took Advantage"

Mayweather, known for his perfect 50-0 record and flashy lifestyle, says the dealership pulled a fast one on him. He's suing them for what he calls "bad business" over a 2018 Maybach Landaulet.

The trouble started in July when Mayweather posted a video on Instagram showing off four new supercars he'd bought from a Las Vegas dealership. He later deleted the post.

On September 18, Mayweather took to Instagram again. This time, he announced he was suing the dealership. He warned his followers to steer clear of doing business with them.

The lawsuit centers on the Maybach. Mayweather says the dealership wouldn't take it back when he returned three other cars. He claims they didn't tell him about issues with the car and way overcharged him.

Mayweather's team dug deeper and found some eye-opening details. The dealership told him the car cost $1.1 million. He paid $1.2 million. But the dealership only paid around $728,000 for it. That means Mayweather might have overpaid by more than half a million dollars.

"I just want to be treated fair,"
Mayweather said.

His lawyers aren't pulling any punches. They're calling the deal "fraudulent, willful, and malicious." They're ready to fight hard to get Mayweather's money back.

This case shines a light on the risks of buying high-end cars. It shows how promises of exclusivity can hide shady business practices. It's a wake-up call for anyone making big purchases from dealerships that aren't upfront about their pricing.

Fans and industry folks are keeping a close eye on this case. They're eager to see if Mayweather can win back the fortune he claims was unfairly taken from him.
