Sparring Partners Reveal Surprising Edge in Canelo-Crawford Showdown: "He's On Another Level"

Crawford, who's moving up two weight divisions for this match, has a tough challenge ahead. He's already proven himself as an undisputed champion at both super-lightweight and welterweight. His most recent accomplishment was winning the undisputed welterweight crown. Now, he's aiming even higher by taking on Canelo, the current undisputed super-middleweight champion.

Alexis Rocha, a welterweight contender who has sparred with both fighters, shared his thoughts on the matchup with ESNews. He favors Canelo to win.

"Weight classes matter. Canelo is bigger, more experienced, and has been in bigger fights. But Crawford has good size, a reach advantage, and a high boxing IQ. He'd hold his own very well."

Middleweight boxer Kyrone Davis, who has also sparred with both fighters, agrees with Rocha's prediction. In an interview with Mill City Boxing, Davis explained his reasoning:

"Canelo is a big guy who can take a punch. Crawford's unlikely to hurt him with one shot. Canelo has moves and traps, and he's great. But in boxing, nothing is impossible. Crawford might try to cut an eye, target the body, or get flesh on his gloves. Still, Canelo might be able to stop Crawford due to his size advantage."

The fight has got everyone talking. Experts are leaning towards Canelo because of his size and experience. But they're not counting Crawford out. His skills are top-notch, and boxing can be unpredictable. One thing's for sure – it's going to be an exciting night in Las Vegas.
