Oleksandr Usyk knocked out Daniel Dubois in the fifth round at Wembley Stadium this weekend. The Ukrainian fighter became the undisputed heavyweight world champion for the second time.

Usyk put on an elite performance, dazzling Dubois with feints and counters. The British boxer struggled to land big shots throughout the fight. In the fifth round, Dubois tried to push the pace, but Usyk responded with two knockdowns. The referee called a stop to the fight, giving Usyk his 15th career knockout.

This rematch followed their 2023 bout, where Usyk stopped Dubois inside nine rounds. The Ukrainian's victory solidified his dominance in the heavyweight division.

Derek Chisora, who gave Usyk his toughest heavyweight test in 2020, had strong words about Dubois' performance. He said:

"He quit. He quit again … Yeah, man, he quit. I don't understand. They were supposed to train different. They did not. It was set for him to win it."

Chisora believes Dubois' heart wasn't in the fight from the start. He added:

"I tell you when he quit. He quit when he walked in the ring, because he did not use his double jab. He did not hunt the way he was hunting AJ. We came to see him go nuts. He didn't go nuts, he was holding back. Everybody was there for Daniel, do you understand? It was his to win."

Despite his harsh criticism, Chisora remains optimistic about Dubois' future in boxing. He predicts:

"He will be a two-time world champion, don't worry about that. He will win a world title again."

However, Chisora expressed uncertainty about Dubois' chances against some current contenders. He doesn't think Dubois can beat Joseph Parker and is unsure how he'd fare against Martin Bakole.

Dubois has bounced back from defeat before, so fans will watch closely to see how he responds to this setback.

As for the 38-year-old Usyk, rest is now his top priority. Boxing insiders expect him to have one more fight before hanging up his gloves. This victory at Wembley adds another impressive chapter to his already stellar career.
