Daniel Dubois and Oleksandr Usyk are getting ready for a big rematch. The two heavyweights will fight for all four major world titles in just a few days.
Their first fight happened last August. Usyk won by stoppage in the ninth round, but there was some controversy. Dubois landed a body shot that the referee called low, giving Usyk time to recover.
Since then, Usyk has been busy. He fought Tyson Fury twice and won both times. These wins made him the undisputed champion in two different weight classes.
Dubois has also had some success. He beat three top contenders and reached his best form. His biggest win came last September when he knocked out Anthony Joshua at Wembley. But he's been inactive since then, pulling out of a fight with Joseph Parker in February due to illness.
Martin Bakole, a heavyweight contender, shared his thoughts on the upcoming fight in an interview with iFLTV. He made some bold claims about knocking out both fighters in sparring, but the champions have denied these claims.
"Usyk beats everyone except me. He's got the boxing brain and the movement. Dubois doesn't know how to cut off the ring. I don't think he'll change his style for this fight."
Bakole also shared some thoughts on other heavyweights:
"Deontay Wilder is done. I was surprised Usyk beat Tyson Fury twice. Anthony Joshua is good, but he doesn't know how to cut the ring either."
The fight is shaping up to be interesting. Usyk is nearing 40 but still has his boxing smarts and movement. Dubois is in his prime but might struggle to trap Usyk in the ring.
We'll soon see if Dubois can overcome these challenges and pull off an upset, or if Usyk will continue his reign as the undisputed heavyweight champion.
