The world champion in versions WBA, WBO, and WBC in heavyweight Alexander Usyk explained what led to his decision to leave boxing after two fights.

“Why did I decide to leave after two fights? I have two sons. One is 12 years old, and the other is 10. I need to be with my sons, I would like to spend more time with my wife and family. I want to be with them always, not just periodically. I train for six months, then I spend four months with my family. That’s not enough,” Usyk said in an interview with Queensberry Promotions.

Let us remind you that this Saturday, July 19, in London, United Kingdom, Usyk will fight for the title of absolute champion against Daniel Dubois.
