Dmitry Bivol thinks Terence Crawford will give Canelo Alvarez a tough fight. The unified light-heavyweight champion shared his thoughts on the upcoming super-middleweight clash set for September 12 at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.

Canelo just got back his undisputed super-middleweight crown. He beat William Scull by unanimous decision on May 3. But fans weren't too happy with how Canelo fought.

Now, Canelo's getting ready to face Crawford. Bivol, who fought Canelo before, believes Crawford's got what it takes. He told Fight Hub TV:

"I think Crawford wants this fight a lot. He wants this fight and I think he will be a lot more active than Canelo's previous opponents and he has a different mentality. He has a champion mentality. I think the fight will be much more interesting."

Canelo, 34, from Guadalajara, Mexico, has been fighting at super-middleweight since 2018. He'll defend his undisputed title against Crawford, who's moving up two weight classes for this fight.

Crawford, 37, nicknamed 'Bud', comes from Omaha, Nebraska. He's known for switching between orthodox and southpaw stances. He's won world titles in four weight classes and was undisputed champ at super-lightweight and welterweight.

If Crawford wins, he'll make history. He'll be the first male boxer to be undisputed champ in three weight classes.

ESPN confirmed the fight's official. It's set for Friday, September 12, at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.
