Canelo Alvarez and Terence Crawford are getting ready for a big fight later this year. The two boxing stars will face each other on September 12 at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.

This match is a big deal in the boxing world. It's happening in the super-middleweight class, where Canelo holds all the titles. Many people are calling it the biggest fight in boxing right now.

Canelo, who's 34 and from Guadalajara, just had a fight on May 3 in Riyadh. He beat William Scull in a twelve-round match that didn't get fans too excited. But it was enough for Canelo to keep his undisputed championship.

On the other side, we've got 'Bud' Crawford. He's 37 and known for switching between southpaw and orthodox stances. Crawford's taking on a big challenge by moving up to the 168-pound weight class. If he wins, he'll become a five-division world champion and an undisputed champion in three different weight classes.

Bob Arum, a well-known boxing promoter, had some thoughts about the fight. He said in a media interview:

"If they're each gonna fight, really fight, I think it's terrific, it's very interesting but again if I had to pay money to watch that fight I wouldn't do it, because Canelo has shown in his last few fights that he's just a businessman."

Arum didn't stop there. He added:

"He's not in there to entertain the public, he just takes the big cheque, but again if Canelo really fights, because it's safe to say Terence always fights, so then it could be a very good [and] interesting fight."

Arum's comments show he's not too impressed with Canelo's recent performances. He thinks Canelo's more focused on making money than putting on a good show. But he believes the fight could be great if Canelo brings his A-game, because Crawford always comes to fight.

A lot of fans are wondering if moving up to 168 pounds will be too much for Crawford. It's a big jump, and Canelo's been fighting at this weight for a while now.

The stage is set for a big night in Las Vegas. Both fighters have a lot to prove, and fans are eager to see if this fight lives up to all the hype.
