Teofimo Lopez gets ready to defend his WBO Super-lightweight World Title against Arnold Barboza Jr in Times Square, New York. The champion will put his belt on the line for the third time since winning it from Josh Taylor in June 2023.

Lopez's journey to the top of the 140 lb division started after he unified the lightweight titles. He beat Vasily Lomachenko in a standout performance and moved up in weight. His last fight was in June 2024 when he successfully defended his title against Steve Claggett.

Barboza Jr earned his shot at the title with an impressive win over Jack Catterall in February. The victory made him the mandatory challenger for Lopez's belt. Barboza Jr has also notched up wins against tough opponents like Jose Ramirez and Jose Pedraza.

The card looks stacked with other big names in action. Ryan Garcia will face Rolly Romero, and Devin Haney will take on Jose Ramirez in what promises to be an action-packed night of boxing.

We'll provide a live scorecard for the Lopez vs. Barboza fight as it happens. Remember, these scores come from Seconds Out and aren't the official judges' scores.
