Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury, two heavyweight boxing stars, still haven't faced each other in the ring. But former champion Evander Holyfield thinks Fury would come out on top if they did.

Fury's career has been a rollercoaster. He won his first world title by beating Wladimir Klitschko in 2015. After a two-year break, he came back in 2018 and drew with Deontay Wilder. Fury then won the next two fights in their trilogy by stoppage. He also beat Derek Chisora and Dillian Whyte, but lost twice to Oleksandr Usyk.

Joshua's path to stardom started when he defeated Wladimir Klitschko in 2017. He became Britain's biggest heavyweight name while Fury was away from the sport.

Right now, neither fighter holds a world title. Joshua's recovering from a small injury and thinking about his next moves. Fury officially retired in January but he's been seen in the gym lately, looking ready for action.

Holyfield shared his thoughts on a potential Joshua-Fury fight with FightHub:

"That definitely would be a good fight cause both guys fight pretty much the same. I think Tyson Fury, he's the type of guy that can make adjustments with him. I think he can outthink him."

Holyfield believes Fury's ability to adapt and outsmart his opponents gives him the edge over Joshua.

The timing for this long-awaited clash seems perfect, with both fighters without titles. But Fury's sudden retirement announcement in January threw a wrench in the works.

Fury's recent gym sessions have sparked comeback rumors. If he decides to return, a showdown with Joshua could finally happen, giving fans the fight they've been waiting for.
